Chapter functionality for the Recorder library
This release of eGrabber adds the chapter functionality to the eGrabber Recorder library.
This feature allows to separate records in the container.
A chapter also provides an automatic synchronization point between system and UTC timestamps, this further helps the users get record buffer timestamps in UTC.
In addition, the MKV export operation now creates one MKV file per chapter.
Line-scan camera support for 3625 Coaxlink QSFP+
This release of eGrabber adds the "1-camera, line-scan" firmware variant to 3625 Coaxlink QSFP+.
This allows connecting one CoaXPress-over-Fiber line-scan camera having up to 4 connections operating at speeds up to 12.5 Gigabit/s.
Packet resend option for Gigelink library
This release of eGrabber adds the capability to enable the GigE Vision packet resend mechanism.
Unpacked data acquisition for line-scan firmware variants
This release of eGrabber adds the capability to acquire unpacked data from line-scan cameras.
This feature allows to maximize the pixel throughput for 10-, 12- or 14-bit line-scan applications.
Important notice
Kindly note that this is the last release that supports the development of 32-bit applications and the use of 32-bit operating systems with Memento and eGrabber.
eGrabber is the driver used for operating our Coaxlink frame grabbers.
Of course, developing or running 32-bit applications developed using eGrabber packages that have been released before 31-Dec-2021 will remain possible.
All developers are highly encouraged to migrate to 64-bit operating systems and 64-bit applications.
