eGrabber is now also available on macOS AArch64.
This feature enables the operation of frame grabbers compatible with eGrabber (Coaxlink) on Apple Silicon M series platforms.
eGrabber Gigelink and eGrabber Recorder
Linux support
eGrabber Gigelink and eGrabber Recorder are now also available on Linux.
This feature allows to use these libraries on Linux machines with x86-64 (64-bit) and AArch64 (ARM64) processor architectures.
eGrabber Recorder
Tool for measuring write performance
The egrabber.recorder command-line tool has a new benchmark mode to measure container write performance. It provides the following information:
| ● | In the command line: open duration, close duration, average write rate for each container (with and without open and close), and a summary at the end of the analysis. |
| ● | In the plot view: open duration, close duration, average write rate for each container (top graph), live write rate (bottom graph). |
In parallel, the time required to create a container has been substantially reduced.
