Improved DMA engine for line-scan cameras
This release of eGrabber enables the DMA engine of line-scan firmware variants to fill consecutive image buffers without any dead-time at the transition.
This improves significantly the efficiency of DMA transfers and maximizes the data throughput.
New firmware variants
This release of eGrabber provides:
● | the (2-camera, bayer) firmware variant for 1633 Coaxlink Quad G3 featuring CFA decoding Methods 3 and 5. |
● | the (2-camera, line-scan) firmware variant for 3603 Coaxlink Quad CXP-12 and 3603-4 Coaxlink Quad CXP-12. |
New Bayer Decoding Method
This release of eGrabber provides the new Bayer decoding Method 5 for 1633 Coaxlink Quad G3 (2-camera) and 3602 Coaxlink Octo (2-camera) firmware variants.
Maximum Image Buffer Size
This release of eGrabber brings the maximum buffer size to 0xfffffff0 bytes (4 GiB - 16 B) for all operating systems.
Kindly note that, starting with this release, the development of 32-bit applications and the use of 32-bit operating systems with Memento and eGrabber is not possible anymore.
Of course, developing or running 32-bit applications developed using eGrabber 21.0 or earlier packages remains possible.
