Multi-tap CoaXPress Cameras

Applies to the following firmware variants of 3603 Coaxlink Quad CXP-12 and 3603-4 Coaxlink Quad CXP-12.

The above listed firmware variants are capable to reconstruct the original image sent by the 2-tap 1X-2YE area-scan cameras delivering image data through two distinct data streams.

GenApi features

Multi- tap is controlled through the following GenApi features of the MultiTapControl category of the Coaxlink Data Stream module:

DeviceTapGeometry: Image scan format. Supported values:

1X_1Y: Single tap. Default value.

1X_2YE: Two zones across vertical direction, pixel extractors at both top and bottom lines.

Image1StreamID: Stream ID of first tap (ignored when DeviceTapGeometry is Geometry_1X_1Y).

●

Image2StreamID: Stream ID of second tap (ignored when DeviceTapGeometry is Geometry_1X_1Y).

See also: Since Coaxlink 10.6, Euresys provides the Image Data Unscrambling feature, that unscrambles images having 1X_1Y2, 1X_2YE and 1X_2YM geometries transferred over CoaXPress using a single stream! However this method doesn't strictly comply with the CoaXPress standard that requires one stream per tap!
